Request to Join: On/Off
When "Request to Join" is enabled, you can accept or decline join requests, ensuring only the right people make it in.
Ask Questions Before Accepting Requests
Screen out spammers by using join questions. If you're running a ticket-selling group, include specific verification questions (e.g., “What’s your section and seat number?”) to ensure authenticity.
Message Deletion Settings
Maintain order by configuring who can delete messages:
Admins and Authors: Grant authors the ability to fix errors in their posts.

Getting Started on GroupMe
Get the app: Download the GroupMe App or navigate to GroupMe.com
Sign Up or Log In: Go to GroupMe and sign up for an account if you don’t have one. If you already have an account, simply log in.
Create a Group Chat: Once logged in, create a new “Group Chat” for your community. This will be the central hub for all communications.
Invite Members: Send out invites to your community to join the group chat. You can do this directly within the app by sharing a join link or entering in their phone number.
How to add a poll to your GroupMe chat
It's simple to add a poll to your chat to start collecting votes from your members
Step 1: Open the group chat with the members you want to poll
Step 2: Click the "Attach" icon (+) and select the "Polls" icon
Step 3: Type the poll question in to the top box, then type the voting options. Tap "Add more" until you’ve added all the choices, up to a maximum of 10.
Step 4: Tap a date and time for voting to end. Then tap "Send" to publish the poll to the group.
How to share your GroupMe Event
Select the "Share" icon in the top right of the event
Copy the link and paste anywhere! (email, blog, text message, etc.)
Create and share the QR code! This can be printed out and posted anywhere you want folks to scan and join
